Our Activities

Too Good to Waste

As you’ve probably gathered by now - we love food but we hate waste. Our Too Good to Waste delivery scheme is designed to help you to help us to make an impact on the planet by giving us the opportunity to stop more food going to waste.

Our Too Good to Waste scheme allows you to order buffets and bulk meals for your events. All orders are made by our chef led team and delivered to your door ready for your event. What better way to show your guests and clients what you care about and how you are helping the planet in your own way. Not only that but you’ll be helping the community too by giving more opportunities to people referred to use for rehabilitation and support through enabling them to help create an array of goodies for your event. You can order soups, veggie main meals such as chillis or curries, cold buffets (perfect for a corporate event/meeting) and sweet treats including healthy fruit options.

Just pick up the phone or message us and well come straight back to you to see how we can help.

Cooking Workshops

We run cooking workshops for anyone and everyone - like out Student Workshops open to school leavers ... or any young person fending for themselves for the first time. We give people the skills and the confidence needed to cook quick, healthy and delicious meals ... and we have fun doing it too!

Our workshops typically run from 10am until 2pm over five to six days. We cover some of the practical aspects of cookery (like knife skills and food hygiene), we equip our learners with some great recipes and we also offer tips on a range of topics from savvy shopping to time saving techniques.  Plus, learners take away samples or the meal they've prepared each day.  Call or message us to find out more. We can design a course to suit your needs

Community Picking Plot

Our picking plot is a secluded and safe spot on private land where we grow and tend our produce and where our community groups can relax.

There are plenty of opportunities for new volunteers to come and enjoy our space with us.  Gary, our expert gardener, leads the team and he's always on the look out for more helpers. Everyone's welcome - no matter the level of experience you have. You definitely don't need to know your kale from your cavolo nero!

Whether you are a company looking to support a community project; a community group keen to get involved; or an individual that wants to spend some time working the land, let us know. We'd love to welcome you to our plot.
